·          MEMS and NEMS devices

·          Long-wavelength infrared semiconductor photodetectors, including Auger-suppressed nonequilibrium devices

Professional Achievements:

·          Introduced several new research fields, including metamaterial-based chemical sensors, optical noise in refractometric sensors, inorganic biomimetic nanomembranes and plasmonic enhancement of infrared photodetectors

·          Founder of the first Serbian group for plasmonics and metamaterials

·          Established Laboratory for Chemical Sensors and Plasmonics within the Centre of Microelectronic Technologies
